Who is like the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high, who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth? Psalm 113:5-6
Elohim, our Creator, does not sit far off on His throne calling us into being.
He humbles Himself by putting His hands in the dust to form (shape and mold) man. Elohim kneels over man's face and breathes His very breath-His Spirit-into man's nostrils, and man becomes a living being or living soul (Genesis 2:7).
Creation is the first account of God demonstrating His intimate love for us, a desire for close relationship with us, to be with us and in us.
This week's video on the names of God focuses on how Elohim created us and why He created us. Why was I born? Why were you born?
