The beauty of God, our wide river of protection.
Isaiah 33:21 (NLT) The Lord will be our Mighty One. He will be like a wide river of protection that no enemy can cross, that no enemy ship can sail upon.
Jesus says when we believe in Him, rivers of living water will flow from within us (John 7:38, NIV). I see these rivers of living water as the wide river of protection in Isaiah.
Negative circumstances may reach our jobs and finances and even our physical well-being, but our soul--our eternal life--is untouchable when it's safe in our Father's hand.
